Overtake

I’m not holding back.
Hold on.
Just hold on.
For I have given you the reins.
Yet I am not holding back.
When you pull on the reins you expect this stage to slow.
Yet I say giddy up!
For the momentum builds and is not diminished by your actions.
All I want you to do is hold on.
For I have given you the means.
For I have given you the means to reign.
I have given you this stage.
I have given you this platform.
I have given you this pulpit.
I have given you the manifesto, for it shall be manifest.
For I have written the script. I have cast the roles. I have set the scene.
I have made this play. But I am not playing around. My actions are deliberate.
I am both Director and Producer. I have oversight of the production.
You can hear the sound of the horse!
The nay is not a no, but the sign of power and much enthusiasm.
For your transport has much power.
Much horsepower.
More than the natural boundary permits.
Every time you unleash the horses, the limit is broken and a new standard is obtained.
For you feel the power I have placed in your hands. To go further than ever before, faster than ever before.
For the impact multiplies in your hand.
Yet this power rests in your hands.
Yes it rests, it rests.
So easy.
You expected intimidation to be your experience.
Yet so much power, more than ever before, yet so easy.
In an instant you are beyond where you expected to be.
You think “I’ll just be gentle with it and then give it some herbs”.
Yet your gentle touch gets you to step 2 before you complete the first step 1.
Phase 2 starts before phase 1 is complete. Such is the rate of acceleration.
For one overtakes the other.
The former overtakes the latter.
Is this not my nature? Is this not my doing?
Is this not my style?
Is this not evidence of my work, my handiwork, my hands on your work?
Amos 9:13-15 Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who sows the seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine and all the hills shall melt that is, everything heretofore barren and unfruitful shall overflow with spiritual blessing. And I will bring back the exiles of My people Israel, and they shall build the waste cities and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards and drink the wine from them; they shall also make gardens and eat the fruit of them. And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be torn up out of their land which I gave them, says the Lord your God.
